    Is it possible to set up an account in Exchange 2000 and have a standard message automatically sent to the sender of all e-mail received to this box.

      If you are talking about corporate disclaimers added to the bottom of every outgoing message, then yes it is possible:

        It is for an employment account, to thank them for their resume and stating that we will get back to them shortly. Not really a disclaimer message.

        Thank you. I considered using rules, but I knew that the mailbox had to be open for the rule to work. I created the rule as a server rule, instead of a client rule and that worked. Thank you for your help.
