Auto Signature, printing Garbage outlook

By lkcarpenter ·
In outlook 2000, the auto Signature, the phone and fax part prints in funny characters (garbage), installed updated drivers, reinstalled the print queue, redirected the port, from lpr to tcp/ip and still the same person's auto signature is printing garbage. The font is arial, so nothing special there. Unable to find anything on this, someone else can print this message fine, but this particular laptop cannot and it is just this one person's auto signature. Need help. Thanks

FYI.

If you have MSOffice installed on that computer see if the autosignature file looks weird when you open the file itself. It is usually in the Windows directory as a Word document. You may need to reinstall Word or check the default font settings.

I don't know if this will help, but it's something else to go on.

I would try a different printer driver. What kind of printer do you have ? If you e-mail this to someone else can they print it ? I have had that problem with adobe files and I would have to try several drivers before it work.

I updated the driver per HP's website. It is a HP 5000n. I used a different port, instead of a lpr i used a tcp/ip. Someone else tried to print it and it prints fine. And it is only the one person who emails her that is being a pain also some web pages are not printing good either.
