While attempting to install AutoCAD 2002, I get an error titled “Internal Error 2381”. This occurs during the Updating System session of the AutoCAD Mechanical 6 Setup. The process is Copying new files. The file listed is acspl15.dll. This error halts installation and prevents me from installing AC2002.
Additionally, we had this problem on the same workstation while trying to upgrade from 2000 to 2000i. Again in this instance we were prevented from upgrading.
Contacting our Reseller was useless, they could not find a solution.
