Autocorrect - MS Word

By Peter Johnstone ·
Is there any way that I can check what date and time an entry has been added to the autocorrect function in MS Word? OS is Win 98 with Office 97.

AutoCorrect entries for Word 97 are stored in one of three locations
The registry, the Normal.dot template file, and an AutoCorrect list (<username>.acl) file
There is no specific place to find when an entry was made other than perhaps the date on Normal.dot or .acl, but that could have changed at anytime.

Thanks for your answer; it was not really what I wanted to hear! (I like the easy life!)
However, the date stamp did help me nail the miscreant who was putting in obscene autocorrect entries. It was only a matter of time before she did it once too often and I was quick enough off the mark to check the last users name.

Thanks for your help, the points are yours.

Regards,

PJ
