AutoInstall for new users.

By steve ·
I have Office 2000 Pro on Windows 2000 Pro SP2. Whenever a new user logs on, Installer tries to configure Office, looking for the installation files. How can I stop this, eg for test users that don't need a configured Office? And where is this set in the registry?
Thanks in advance.
Steve

You could disable Windows installer. See this Microsoft site for instruction as well as other possibly useful links:

Another link to turn off the installer:
