Automated email reply & power settings

I have to set up an automated response from Eudora to let incoming emails know that someone will be away for two weeks. I’ve found out how to do that in Eudora, and I know that the Windows machine has to be left on, with Eudora running and checking mail every hour or so.

What I DON’T know is whether there are any power settings I have to check on this machine (running Windows 98) to make sure the machine doesn’t turn itself off or some such. I know how to do this on a Mac, don’t know what to check on a PC.
