automatic certificate from standaloneCA

windows 2000 domain required automatic certificates from stand alone CA
please explane the procedure
i tried but failed

procedure that i used
1. create a AD domain named stg.com
2. create a stand alone root CA Named RootCA
3. on Domain Controller m/c named mydc.stg.com ->active directory users and computer ->right click select property ->group policy->edit->computer configuration->windows settings->security settings->public key policy->trusted root certification authority->right click->all tak -> import and import a root certificate

after doing this procedure i am unable to provide computer certification to my domain members please suggest me the right way i am in trouble

there are a couple of good articles on Certificate Services on Microsoft's Help & Support. Try article # 323870 Certification Authority Root Certificate is not visible in the certification path. There are a couple of other good articles on configuring a Certificate Authority. Go to http://support.micorsoft.com and type in the search bar certificate authority to pull up a list.
