Automatic download of attachments for mailbox in Exchange 2000

Hi all,

We have a client who insists the way they want to transmit files to us is through email. Would it be possible to script a download of attachments destined to a specific user through Exchange itself instead of relying on the client Outlook with the various third party software. We would place these files in a directory to run scripts on later in the day.

I have expressed our interest in using FTP (more reliable) which is still an option but, of course, would like a fall back option. Thanks everyone.
