Automatic Log On

I have a server running a critical program. Unfortunitly the app wont run as a service.
If I loose power or the server reboots, the server needs to be logged in for the app to work. I don't want the server automatically logging in because I have seen servers stuck in loops etc. Is there a program that can notify me by e-mail or pager to let me know the application has stopped?

Hyena has that capability.

So do some of the Winternal products.

I am sure there are several others also.
