I am new to Excel so forgive my ignorance.
I have a user that has a dropdown list box and she would like to automatically fill in the data by part typing the text and then the rest would follow.
The list box works when the choice of data is selected via the list box , but she would like to “tab” into the cell and have it automatically fill.
For instance; one of the options in the list is “Travel Expenses”. She would like to tab into the cell and then type “tr” and the rest would automatically be entered.
I hope I have made myself clear. Thanks for any info.
