Automating Event Log Monitoring

I need to automate the monitoring of the event logs in NT, 2K and 2003. I need a utility that would check all three logs daily and notify my of only warnings and errors via e-mail. I was told, What’s Up Gold was a good tool for this, but I haven’t set it up yet. Please advise, thank you in advance.
