Hello,
I am working with an online application with an Access database backend and I need to automate some of the processes to run on a daily/weekly basis (or other given times). For example: I need a report run at the end of each week that will gather certain information from the tables in the DB and send the information to me in an e-mail. I want that to run by itself without me having to go in and actual tell it to do it.
As it is now, I have the system configured to run the report assoon as I press the button to tell it to do that and it does it just fine. I dont want to have to tell it to do it though… I need to to be automated and be done by itself.
Can anyone lead me in the right direction of how I might be able to do that?
Here is some more information about my situation:
Server type: Windows
Database type: Access
Page/program language: ASP
Server Access: FTP only (no DLL access, etc)
