Export contacts
File -- import/export

create a .pst file and copy/move your mail to it.
file -- new -- outlook data file

then when reloaded import the contacts.
Add the .pst file
file -- open -- outlook data file

You don't need software to do this. If you're using a local instance (non exchange server) of Outlook, it will already have a .PST email file. It will also have a .PAB address book file. Do a search of your C drive for *.pst and back that up before you wipe the drive.

After you have rebuilt the system and restored the PST and PAB files (I would recommend creating an "Outlook" subfolder in My Documents to put them in), you open Outlook and create some new profiles. You go to "Tools" menu and hit "Email Accounts" and there you'll be able to reattach the PST file using the "new outlook datafile" button.

Look here
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070/en-us
And to add email accounts there is a couple ways to do this, the simplest way is to go to control panel, mail go to accounts and then use the add button. Also look at this

hi
by default, emails are stored in the server, and outlook is just a client to view the emails, so you wont lose anything.
but if you have archived emails, then copy the archive pst file to some cd rom and then after reinstalling everything copy this file back to same location.
thanks
prabu
