Background Images for HTML Tables.

by soundsteve . Updated 25 years, 3 months ago

Hi.

I wonder if anyone here can help me.

I have designed a website that is moderately heavy in background images set in tables.

The long and short of it is, Internet Explorer displays the images as true.
Netscape however, has cut the imageup according to how the table is set up.
eg. The image repeats itself at every new column. It doesn’t look very nice
to say the least.

I would like to keep the images. Does anybody know how to get around this problem without having to cut up the images and insert the jigsaw into the different columns or rows etc?

Your help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Sound Steve (undeleted or is it undefeated?……yet.)
