One of the frequent problems i have seen on the net is windows system files being corrupted thus making windows unbootable, yet i have not seen programs and\or step specifically designed to backup these crucial files and restore them when things go wrong. The usual suspects are boot.ini, hal.sys or hal.dll, ntldr, ntdetect etc. The usual solution is to reload windows (this should be a last resort)what else can we do?
