I have a client that is using a Cobalt Qube as the server. He needs to backup his email and address book. In addition, he needs to be able to access that information without the help of a consultant or software “translator”. By “translator” I mean that the data is not compressed or changed in any way.
To add to the challenge the intranet is a Macintosh based net work with a Cobalt Qube version 2 as the server. The network also has 3 PCs that use printing and other resources.
My client needs:
1. A way to login to his intranet from anywhere in the world and retrieve email, email addresses and documents.
2. A way to backup the data without compressing or altering the data.
3. Remote logins must be able to be done from any platform.
