backup Hotfix that all ready installed

Hi,

i am looking to format my windows xp system due to some problem on it but i have all ready download and installed it's all hotfix patches and do't want to download them again from the internet.

is there any way so that i take a backup of my all hotfix patches so that i can reuse them in a later process.


i need it to be use in also in my windows 98 computer also.

If you go on Microsoft Web Site you can order the Windows Security CD which has alot of the hotfixes on the CD. This is just a thought I have a few that I use for when I work on a customer PC that has a dialup internet account.

Hi

You can 'merge' service pack 2 with the original contents of the WinXP installation CD. This creates a new set of files that you can burn to CD.

That way, you will only have to download hotfixes applied after SP2 was released.
