I needed to rebuild my PC so took a tape backup using the built-in Windows 98 backup utility (Veritas). After backing up I tested it and could restore files so I formatted and re-installed Windows. To my horror, when I tried restoring my files I received a message saying that the media does not contain any backup sets – even when I try to refresh the restore options???
