Backup Wizard Windows 2000

I have a Domain Windows 2000 and I use Ntbackup to backups. I have a problem. Everyday I use Ntbackup Wizard to program a night backup of some files, but some nights it starts and other nights it does not. I don’t know what happening. I always program backup same way. Is there a procedure to do this??? Anybody has some tips about it???
