Does anyone have any tips to share for making it easier to check the daily backups? In an ideal world, I'd arrive at work, grab my hot choc, and sit down to find four emails from each of the servers, 1 nt, 2 Nw and 1 2k, listing backup logs containing only the errors. I have an idea of how this can be achieved using the mailto command and the log files could be filtered but what is the best solution? Ideally nothing fancy. Any ideas gratefully recieved.

We have arcserve running on the 2000 server which backs up the nt server too. Unfortunatly noone is going to show me the ins and outs of it (that would be too much to ask). Tapeware is used for the Novell servers. I don't think anyone would be too happy if I slapped Backup exec on the servers too! But thanks David, if I had the choice we'd be using Backup exec.
