Backups ‘Queued’ in Backup Exec 9.1

About a month or two ago my differential and full backups began ‘queueing’ themselves. The jobs end up running forever until I log in and cancel them. Any idea as to why this is happening? I know there are many variables that can play into this problem, but I’m hoping to get some suggestions so that I can narrow down the possible causes.
