We had a bad sector on the Exchange 5.5 server priv database drive. That has been replaced and the database was repaired and fixed using eseutil. But now several users have an email that cannot be read or deleted. Both w/ Outlook 98, 2000. Here’s the message from 2000:
“This item contains active content that cannot be displayed in the preview pane. Open the item to read its contents.”
Upon opening a box w/:
“Cannot open” and OK.
Upon trying to delete:
“The item could not be deleted. It waseither moved or already deleted, or access was denied.”
Some users are also getting:
“The custom form could not be opened. Outlook will use an Outlook form instead.” OK. Then returns to 1st message.
