Bad response for PPTP VPN users.

We have a problem with our VPN that has all of our vendors stumped. Our remote users come into our AS/400 through a VPN connection on our Watchguard firewall(the VPN is established via their personal ISP; AOL, ATT, etc). About two months ago, we noticed that our AS/400 sessions started locking up frequently. It would take several minutes for a screen to come back. We have updated the 400, firebox, and DUN on the affected PC’s with no noticeable change. IBM thinks that our main ISP is dropping packets, yet the ISP doesn’t see any bottlenecks. The only thing we think it could be now is something with the phone company’s line. Has anyone come across this before? My personal email is Cwilliams@atlanticwood.com. Thanks Chuck Williams
