By arun_rit5 ·
With the nice reviews which , i have seen till now, i would plz let u know , acheiving something precious is not that easy , as i thought of ,

I have written my GRE & badly screwed up in the verbal portion , i scored on ly 270 along with quant part which is also not good, ie 730 ,
now everything seems blocked , the only nice thing is i m at present working in some manufacturing company .
I ll try again to score respected score so that i can secure my chances of admission in 1 of good university
Now a this point of time , i would like to appreciate general reviews on my score , whether i should apply or not

I think that one possible thing that you could do first is to read some classic English (UK or USA) literature and try to focus on the sentance construction. I am sure that you are an intelligent person but the word flow that I see in your statement shows that your thought process is not flowing fully in English.

You might even try a writing class to assist in this. One additional thing to study may be Latin - root word derivitive knowledge would assist in determining meaning and use.

You are not alone - this is a very tricky subject. Best of luck to you.

Dont loose hope. Same happened with me though my verbal was good but I screwed up my Quant with terrible time management. I will take the test again in another 2-3 months. And I would recommend you the same. Because I dont think you will get admission into some good university and if you do get a admission in some other university it would not be easy to get VISA because they will see what university it is and how will it help you etc. etc.
