Would 640K/s be enough to host say, 10 websites? They will be database-driven ASP webpages. thx for your opinion.

The answer to your question is a definite "maybe". :)

The number of sites does not matter as much as the total traffic to all of those sites. One popular site could tap out that bandwidth. But if all 10 sites draw relatively low traffic, you'llbe fine. So the bigger question in determining adequate bandwidth is: How many visitors per day or pageviews do you anticipate total?

A related issue is how much processing power your web server has. A database-driven site will always take moreprocessing time than straight HTML. You could have adequate bandwidth but have an overloaded processor slow you down. Again, the question comes to traffic levels.
