batch file

Hi everybody,

I need to add a folder(contains shortcuts) to the users' desktop in a W2k environment and push it through Group Policy. Could you give me some help with the batch file?

Thanks in advance.

If all users are going to have the same desktop, then you can configure redirection in GPO to point to a common desktop folder:

User Configuration\Windows Settings\Folder Redirection\Desktop.

xcopy \\fileservername\share\shortcutfolder c:\docume~1\%username%\desktop\shortcutfolder /I

There might be some issues if there are spaces in the path.
