Batch File Assistance

Would someone be able to help me write a batch file that would read a host list containing a list of the unique id’s on the network, and for each unique ID run a remote execute of d:\*.dat -y -y then d:\*.reg -y -y then run the next host and so on while writting a log to the server listing each host that received the update, and if the update fail a separate log stating which systems failed?
