Hi there.
I have a bit of a problem with a Wireless Distribution system I have with the 2 of our 3 access points.
The WDS link drops out occasionally, and we only find out when a customer complains that their wifi is not working. It is easily resolved by telnetting into the root-bridge AP and re-connecting WDS clients.
What I would like to do, is have Windows task scheduler run a batch file/some sort of script at certain intervals to ping the IP address of the 2 “child” access points. If the ping fails, telnet to the root-bridge and re-connect WDS clients.
I honestly have no idea where to start with this. Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
