I have 600 + Windows XP and Windows 7 computers in our environment.
I need to find out which users currently have a specific Program.lnk on their desktop and replace that with NewProgram.lnk.
For each computer I need to record the computername and if the Program.lnk existed and if it was successfully replaced. I would prefer to have this file created in excel on the server I will run the batch file from.
Any thoughts?
