Old Mycroft is ‘old’ – he is 53 years old and counting (actually his brain is 75 and marching forward but that is another matter already discussed!).

My question to you is:

How do you feel as the years progress?

You know more than the youngsters that are coming up behind you in the workplace, that’s for sure – but you’ve also got aches and pains that those same youngsters don’t have. I know for a fact that if I was faced with digging into the internals of a minicomputer I’d balk at the thought, my limbs might not allow me to regain upright state again!

However, by the same token, problems that throw the younger members of our fraternity into a quandry, simply flow over our heads because we already know the answer – it already happened before – to US!

So, what is the medium for growing old(er)?

How do you feel? I am sometimes in wonderment at different pains that I feel from time to time, but they’re the same feelings that I remember as a kid, castigating people for just because they were OLD.

WE are obviously wiser, having experience on our sides, but are we floundering due to age?

Eh?

<2, sorry 3 typos - not bad for an 'oldster')
