It's going back to London

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

So, the weekend is almost over and I'm about to get back to Vienna Airport... In a few hours I'll be back in my London apartment on Prince's Square... Let's hope the wetter is as good as it was this weekend in Austria!

I got my iNode internet connection upgraded to a stunning 4MB/s and I managed to restore my profile on my desktop... All-in-all a successful weekend!

This post originally appeared on an external website

The Rebel Billionaire

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

Hi,

I did stay up late yesterday to see the final of Rebel Billionaire... OK, my favourite won... Virgin International and especially Richard Branson must be great to work for... He's mad! But he did chose the right candidate to fit this picture the world has about Virgin and Richard.

But why is this program, like so many others in NBC, sponsored by PARTYPOKER.COM, the worlds largest poker room? They seem to sponsor all populair programms on this channel!

This post originally appeared on an external website

Ashes

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

So, the english won the Ashes... London went crazy yesterday and still is today! England went Cricket... The parade came past the office, the trophy (it's even a replica) however is so small, you can't even see it! All the fuss about a small cup ;-) But then again, the Australians beat the English the last 15 years in a row... It's about time! You should have seen the newspapers today. Never was Cricket so populair. I might go and by EA Sports Cricket 2006 this weekend to try and finaly understand the rules and scores. If 23.000 spectators saw the game live and an other few millions on Television, there must be something about it.

Now everything is back to normal around the office... Tonight is Championsleague and Chelsea is to plan Anderlecht and Liverpool Betis. Might go to the pub ;-)

This post originally appeared on an external website

And they won again...

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

So, Liverpool and Chelsea both won there chapionsleague games... Will there be tours through the city again tomorrow? Don't think so! Should be a quite day at the office tomorrow... Let's see, what's on tomorrow ;-))

I did get my phone and internet connection in the hotel (serviced apartments) working again ;-) and I did see that I managed to change the adds on the side of my blog! It's not about ... anymore, it's all about how to cheat in casinos. Don't know where that can from, but a nice change. I also created 2 search and a few add pages on my web-resume. They work fine!

I've created some SItemaps for Google! A new service they offer (BETA), and I'll see what comes out of it. I also managed to create personal search page in google. If you llok a bit harder, you'll notice that it's not for US customers only...

Soooo, there're some nice things going on at google... I'll just keep testing them!~

This post originally appeared on an external website

2nd Place

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

Oh yes... The dutch 11 have made 2nd place on the official FIFA list of countries! They've overtaken Argentina and are now behind Brazil... I guess the results of the last few months are paying off! Thanks to Marco van Basten ;-) I can't wait for the World Cup to start next year...

Uhm let's see: Englang is 11th (even behind the US), Germany 15th, European Champions Greece are 20th and Austria 79th (just behind Oman ;-)).

This post originally appeared on an external website

So, what's the score

by rooymans In reply to Behind the Scenes

Funny... NO soccer on TV this evening... I don't understand how the Championsleague rights are divided in England, but I didn't see a ball rolling tonight... Or maybe it's the subscription the hotel has with SKY? Anyway, Arsenal won (only because of Dennis B.), Man. United draw (thanks to Rooney), Ajax draw (don't know why) and yesterday PSV won and Real Madrid lost (only 0-3)... Yes, it's been a nice week of sports!

EUFA Cup tomorrow?

This post originally appeared on an external website
