I’m configuring the DSL Modem wireless Router & the N1 wireless router to work together. Somehow, I’m unable to setup the wireless router to access the internet thru the DSL Modem Router.
I’ve connected the wireless router ‘Modem’ port to the DSL modem router port 1 by Cable. I tried many settings but failed to do so. Both of them the default internal IP is 192.168.2.1. Once I changed the internal IP of the wireless router and off the DHCP, I’m unable to access the wireless router again. Eventhough I can get connected the wireless router, but just limited or no connectivity.
I found the WAN IP in the wireless router is 192.168.2.8, I suppose this is assigned by the DSL modem router. I have even tried the ‘wireless bridge’ but the DSL modem couldn’t start the connectivity for the wireless router itself.
Is there any experts out there can help me with this?I just want to extend the router numbers for more people can access.
