I have Virgn Media cable 20mb broadband with an Apple Powerbook 10.4 MAC OS. I upgraded to a wireless router from Belkin, the N MIMO F5D8233UK4 at the weekend.
Direct ethernet connection to the router works but the Wireless internet connection doesnt work.
I followed the instructions and created my wireless network – all fine. The wireless network is visable from everywhere in the house with full signal … great.
I can browse wirelessly for about 1 minute or less and then it fails to find any of the web pages.
I can sometimess still access the router wirelessly, but more often than not I can’t connect to the web or router.
However, I stay connected to the Wireless network.
I’ve rebooted, changed the SSID, changed the channel all to no avail.
If I link to the router via ethernet, all is fine.
Both the Virgin Cable Modem and the Belkin, have all the lights functioning as described in the manual.
Any ideas?
