Best hand held device for accessing Domain resources

I am looking for a way to access Domain resources (Active Directory, GPO, e-mail, Office, buisness software…) while travelling. Basicaly the same level of functionality as a laptop, but in a hand held mobile device. Is this available? If so, what are some good options?
