Best Mobo

What is the most powerful motherboard available. Specifically, AMD ATX.

With your answer, please include the motherboard specifications. Price doesn't matter at this stage. In my opinion I would be looking at a dual AMD CPU, maximum ram 3gb, Maximum CPU speed 3200+, 10/100/1000 LAN FSB 800MhZ.

Does such a board exist?

There isn't, per se, a most powerfull mainboard, as all are basically made to the same specs and the frills, bells & whistles companies put on the board to distingush theirs from the competition don't really do anything for overall system performance. Tyan, Gigabyte, MSI, all make decent dual processor mainboards and come with a bevy of perks and have either SCSI or IDE controllers. All support 3GB of memory. In my humble opinion, the best mainboard is the one that is the least problem to install & setup, has the ability to upgrade the BIOS, has excellent driver/chipset updates & support and a tech department with people you can actually reach & who know what they are talking about.
