I am getting a bit fed-up with windows operating systems. Win98 > 2000 > XP and Vista Ultimate – too many problems to discuss! Can anyone tell me whether Linux systems are any better ie. do they suffer ‘freeze’? are they compatible with available soft/hard-ware, and what about e-mail and modems? (Broadband) If I did decide to migrate to Linux would it pay me to install on a partition or install a second hard-drive.
Any constructive advice would be welcome.
