Best Preparation for Network + Cert Exam

By TheRook ·
I've determined that, along with my A+ cert, I need to next get my Net+ cert (then move on to CCNA, and MCSA, etc). What do you guys think is the best way to prepare for the Network+ exam, for someone with budget restrictions. Transcenders? Or a site like 'Freeskills.com', which charges a flat fee of $149 for the year?

Please help,

Thanks

I have NEVER failed a test and I firmly believe it is because of
Transcender. I have used many simulation companies, but
Transcender is just that good to me. I will always use them.

I also use the Exam Cram books. They are great!

As to the freeskills.com site, I have no experience with them,
sorry.

Good Luck with the test!

Hello, Is there a chance your company will carry the cost for you? This will save you some money. The Network+ test for me was the smoothest thanks in part to the Study Guides. When I took the test, I used a study guide, ExamCram, practice tests from Cert21.com. All in all about $100.00. I got my boss to pay for it all. Nice guy! But, know the material well. Nothing will substitute for hands on experience. GoodLuck!
