Best USB locking programs to lock my laptop (FREE)

Hello all,
I am having trouble at work, people stealing infos and docs from my laptop.
Windows security is not enough at all. I am looking for a good free locking (USB key) software for my laptop, that gives me the opportunity to start it as soon as my pc is turned on. Raptor and predator are not good at all cause they do not give you this option.

Please help.

Password protect?

Have you already tried the simple method of password protecting not only the files but also your laptop? So a password is required to login to your laptop as well as to be able to view your files?

First of all thank you for answering my question.
I've tried but they still be able to get into my laptop
I asked at office they are ok for me to put an usb lock on my laptop.

Please help.

One of my customers had some data protection software that dissallows data from being copied to a USB port, i'll try to figure out what it is for you.

If you want encryption on usb drives, get an ironkey, however truecrypt will encrypt usb keys as well without central management of course
