I need to enable BGInfo for multiple workstations under domain. So I placed two files bginfo.exe and bginfo.bgi under my domain controller, then created the script
“c:\bginfo\pbginfo.exe c:\bginfo\pbginfo.bgi /timer:0” and put it under sysvol folder. Then created policy under BGinfo OU to upply bginfo for multiple workstation. The script runs fine for the users with dministrative rights but doesn’t for regular users.
Also I want to update bginfo two-three times a day but the only way to do it is to run task scheduler, and again in order to run task scheduler you have to have administrative rights.
Could anyone please point me to the right direction. What is the best way to set up bginfo for multiple computers under domain and have it updating two-three times a day?
Is there way to do it avoiding task scheduler by using the script.
