Big Mess Up

By xxwhatsername72xx ·
My boyfriend was on my computer the other day, and saw that I had only something like 1.23MB left on my computer due to all of the programs I have. So, I decided to uninstall some stuff to make more room... Accidentally, I uninstalled SoundMAX from my computer (It makes my speakers work) and I tried to re-download it and it won't seem to work. How can I get my speakers to work again?

Is the sound card on-board or peripheral? Do you have any disks that came with the computer?

try windows update from the start all programmes,it can detect your hardware,or try to update driver automatically from the device manager.

I have the same problem. No matter how I try to reinstall the driver, the system crashes just at the end of the download. I've rebooted from Windows, downloaded the drivers from the manufaturer's site, used the original disk, and nothing has worked. Did you ever come up with a solution?
