Binding Applications to Nic cards

By mcclamma ·
I need to be able to have certain applications use only certain network cards. I have not been able to find a way to make this happen. Some of the applications are, IE 5.5, Mcafee Vshield?s FTP client, I also need WINS, and Net bios.

Binding Applications to Nic cards

Once a network card is installed in a PC, any application running on the PC that can interface into the network can use the NIC. There is not a way to direct traffic from one application to only one NIC, and not the other. You can put the second NIC on a different subnet, and the application will talk to one subnet at a time, but I don't think this is what you're after.
