Binding multiple IPs to one NIC

By Frank K ·
I have successfully bound 2 different networks to one nic through a registry hack on a win9x box. Can this feat be duplicated in win2000?

You can bind as many IP's as you want in W2K.
Do this through the advanced tab in TCP/IP properties.

From Network and Dialup Connections, right click on your LAN icon and select properties. Scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click properties. Click Advanced button. In IP Address frame under IP Settings tab, click Add. Enter appropriate IP address and subnet mask. You can enter as many as you want.

hope this helps.
