log into the BIOS with the highest level PW. This main PW may be called different things, but when you get into the setup and select to change the PW, it will tell you which is needed.
Next, you need to type in this PW. This involves using the keyboard and typing the correct sequence of keys.
Once this is done, you will be logged in, and can now change the power on password. This sequence is the same for every system that I have had to change this PW on.
