I have just finished making a computer for a clients son of mine and have encountered a Serious problem for some reason the BIOS cannot detect the hard drive it was detecting before. My client bought a new tower for his son and wanted me to just take his present motherboard and drives and place them in the new tower. So i did just that and it looked just the same as before but now the CPU fan has an error (but i know it is from another fan blowing in the opposite direct directly in front of it causing it to spin incredibly fast) and the BIOS does not detect any of the Ultra DMA drives one hard drive and one dvd burner. can any one help?
