BIOS Does not Detect HDD

by s_rahimi . Updated 17 years, 6 months ago

I have a 320 GB SATA Western Digital HDD, suddenly I recognized that the HDD is working too slowly, then I restarted the computer but BIOS did not detect the HDD and the slot in the BIOS was not shoing anything I mean that it was not even written “None” it had no text and as empty. I had checked the HDD in other PCs but still have this problem.
Please help me. If it is damaged, is there any solution for this? Because I have critical information on my Hard Drive.
Many Thanks
