I didn’t know this would be possible, but my BIOS is screwed up and Windows still boots normally.
At startup it says the settings are incorrect, F1 to change/correct settings, F2 to load default values.
F1 takes me to a crashed blue screen (supposedly the BIOS).
F2 loads the settings I had, which aren’t the default settings. The system now boots normally each time, but the CMOS settings are being Auto-detected and then there’s a black screen with vertical lines just before windows boots.
I tried the Jumper switches to clear the CMOS memory, but no change.
Is it possible to get the BIOS back to normal again where I can actually edit the settings?
