bios issues

I am a tech. I remove the cmos battery from a toshiba satellite m35-s320 laptop now the computer has a blank screen but it will show on an external monitor. There is something about the toshiba laptops when you remove the cmos battery. what do i need to do?

I'm not exactly sure what you have removed here

As these fairly new Toshiba's don't have a CMOS Battery they use a Smart Socket to power the CMOS Chip.

It sounds as if you have switched the Display to the External Screen so look in the User Manual here for the way to switch it back to the Internal Screen should be a key combination which include the Function Key with the Icon of a Monitor on it.
