Bios looses drives after rebooting??

by brucekirk1310 . Updated 19 years, 5 months ago

Hi

I have just put together a new system. Gigabyte GA9-965P-DQ6 MB, Sata DVD, 160gb sata boot HDD.

My problem is this, everytime my PC reboots it no longer recognises the sata drives. I have to clear the CMOS, then it recognises them again only to loose them again!! Even though they don’t show in the bios I can still get into Windows XP MCE. But the only hard drive space seen by XP is the 60gb boot partition.

I am stumped. I have run memtest and no errors.?? Any ideas

Thanks
