BIOS, NT Boot screen shots??

By MJackman ·
I need to capture the following screens for some documentation:

A BIOS screen

The NT Hardware Profile menu during boot

Any idea how I can do this? Thanks in advance!

Connect a printer to the parallel port. For each BIOS screen you want to print, simply go to that screen the press <alt+PrtScn>. This will send a text copy to the printer. No driver needed and it works with any printer.

As for the NT Hardware profile I would suggest looking at the NT bootlog.txt file. If this doesn't help let me know what you are looking for and I can narrow down which log file to look at for you.

Good luck!

It may be <ctrl+PrtScn>...not sure. One of them works, though. This much I know.

Is there some way I can capture the screen shot to the hard drive instead of printing it?

Thanks!

The first answer looks good to me. If that doesn't work, try something else. Hope this helps.

Greetings,

Yes, you can use screen-capture shareware called, "Flash-It".

Cut and paste this link for information and related links:
