hi! a colleagues has a personal laptop, a sony vaio. She was trying out putting a password in the BIOS and now she can’t remember which it is. she called me to give her some tips. i’ve not really tried retrieving any passwords so i got in touch with some1 else who tells me to send the serial key of the laptop to the manufacturer. is there a way i can reset the BIOS password to the original way it was on the laptop?
